Breast Radiologist

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF), a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join their well-established team in Pensacola, Florida. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling options and focuses on a comprehensive spectrum of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures. The role primarily supports Sacred Heart Hospital, a leading 560+ bed institution and Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Opportunity to join the faculty of Florida State University to provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to medical students.
• Teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa.

Responsibilities

• Focus on a full spectrum of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures.
• Serve as Lead Interpreting Breast Radiologist with leadership responsibilities (Option 4).
• Provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to medical students at Florida State University (optional).
• Serve as adjunct faculty in the University of South Florida Department of Radiology (optional).

Compensation

• $50,000 Commencement Bonus!

Shift & Schedule

• Day/1st Shift
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
• Multiple flexible scheduling options tailored to your preferred workstyle and career goals.
• Option 1: Full-time, 5-day workweek (Monday-Friday), 100% Breast Radiology, No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
• Option 2: Monday-Friday schedule with hybrid model (mix of on-site and remote reading days), 100% Breast Radiology, No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
• Option 3: Monday-Friday schedule with hybrid model (mix of on-site and remote reading days), ~80% Breast / 20% General Radiology, Q7 remote weekend call.
• Option 4: Flexible scheduling options tailored to leadership and clinical goals.

Requirements

• MD or DO with completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
• Board-certified or board-eligible (ABR or AOBR)
• MQSA required
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
