Breast Radiologist

The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its Department of Imaging Sciences. This role involves contributing to a division dedicated to comprehensive care for early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. The successful candidate will join a team focused on high-quality outcomes and educational innovation within a world-leading department.

Practice Info

• Join the Division of Breast Imaging, which consists of 7 dedicated faculty members.
• Provide state-of-the-art imaging, including novel ultrasound tomography and breast CT.
• Utilize structured reporting software and automated breast density with risk assessment across the enterprise.
• Be an integral component of the comprehensive breast program at the Wilmot Cancer Center.
• Participate in the department's Mobile Mammography Van operations, providing access to underserved and underinsured patients.
• The Department of Imaging Sciences has approximately 105 faculty members.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $474,000 - $514,000
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• ABR certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training or equivalent experience in breast imaging
• New York State Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
