Breast Radiologist

Radiology Partners Borderlands is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their collegial and progressive subspecialty-trained group in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time, on-site position focuses 100% on breast imaging with an option for some general diagnostic work if desired. • Lovelace Women's Hospital features a 53-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 24/7 emergency department, 16 labor and delivery rooms, 41-bed Mother-Baby unit, and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine program.
• Lovelace Women's Hospital has 8 Intensive Care Unit beds and 73 Medical Surgical beds.
• Lovelace Women's Hospital's Breast Care Center is nationally accredited and provides 3D mammography and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% Breast Imaging, with an option for some General Dx if desired.
• Be proficient in all aspects of breast imaging/procedures.
• Cover up to 11 weeks/year or 55 shifts (vacation coverage).

Compensation

• This position is paid on a shift basis, $4,400/shift.
• The salary range for this position is $150,000-$300,000.
• This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
• Weeklong shifts: Monday -Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (Onsite).
• No call, weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• Completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Diagnostic Radiology Training Program.
• Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
• BLS, ACLS.
• DEA.
• MQSA required.
• Medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of New Mexico.
• Fellowship in Breast Imaging - Preferred, but not required.
