Breast Radiologist

Coastal Radiology, an affiliate of Radiology Partners, is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their team in New Bern, North Carolina. This partnership-track position offers a high concentration of breast imaging, up to 100%, with the option to participate in general diagnostic shifts and emergency call. The role involves comprehensive breast imaging services and interventions, supported by an established infrastructure for efficient workflow.

Practice Info

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week) employment type, with part-time options available.
• Practice includes screening mammography, diagnostic mammography and ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Performs the whole range of breast interventions, using stereo, ultrasound and MRI.
• Potential for mixed on-site and off-site work.
• Coastal Radiology is a 15-physician, progressive, multispecialty radiology group.
• Serves 2 regional medical centers, 5 imaging centers, and provides state-of-the-art interventional services in both hospital and outpatient offices.

Compensation

• The salary range for this position is $450,000-$600,000.
• This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Day/1st Shift.
• 9-hour shifts between 8 AM-5 PM, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• MQSA qualified.
• Candidates must possess excellent communication skills.
• Fellows and residents welcome to apply.
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
• Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred, but not required.
• Be licensed or have the ability to obtain a license in North Carolina.
• Candidates on a J1 visa will be considered.
