The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute seeks a medical oncologist with a breast cancer sub‑specialization to join our team of four breast medical oncologists. The busy breast service sees over 600 new breast cancer cases annually, supported by a multi‑disciplinary team of fellowship‑trained breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, reconstructive surgeons, a mature genetic counselling program and an active nurse navigator program. Formal programs in survivorship, high‑risk care, patient education and breast rehabilitation services are in development.

Hartford Hospital, an 867‑bed tertiary care center, is the flagship hospital of Hartford HealthCare. It hosts active clinical trial and health disparities research programs and is a main member of SWOG and NRG. Hartford Hospital is the largest teaching hospital in the University of Connecticut medical school system, hosting medical residents and oncology fellows in training.

Since 2014, it has been a strategic partner with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), ensuring patients receive the same quality of care, access to emerging technologies, and opportunities to participate in clinical trials as in New York.
