Breast Imaging Radiologist

Practice Info

• Ochsner Health's Department of Radiology offers a full spectrum of radiological services provided by nationally recognized subspecialized radiologists
• Services performed at Ochsner New Orleans South Shore hospitals and outpatient facilities
• Resident supervision and academic responsibilities at the Lieselotte Tansey Breast Center at Ochsner and Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway
• Top-end imaging equipment, PACS and dictation software, and IT support

Responsibilities

• Perform full scope of breast imaging examinations including screening & diagnostic mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as core needle biopsies and surgical localizations at Ochsner New Orleans South Shore hospitals and outpatient facilities
• Fulfill resident supervision and academic responsibilities at the Lieselotte Tansey Breast Center at Ochsner and Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway

Shift & Schedule

• Part time or Full time
• Current weekend coverage approximately 1 in 8 with flexible work opportunities with option for no call or weekends
• Remote opportunities available

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist
• Breast Imaging Fellowship or extensive breast imaging experience required
• Individuals who reside in and will work from the following areas are not eligible for remote work position: Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.
