Breast Imaging / Diagnostic Radiologist

Southern Alliance Radiology (SOAR) is seeking a Breast Imaging / Diagnostic Radiologist to join their growing, physician-led practice in LaGrange, Georgia. This full-time hybrid opportunity offers a blend of breast imaging and diagnostic radiology, with onsite procedural breast coverage and remote flexibility for diagnostic reading. The role provides a sustainable and flexible long-term practice model within a collaborative subspecialty environment.

Practice Info

• Physician-led practice supporting hospitals across Georgia
• Approximately 60% Breast Imaging / 40% Diagnostic Radiology
• Collaborative environment with fellowship-trained radiologists across Breast Imaging, Neuroradiology, MSK, and Interventional Radiology
• State-of-the-art PACS and workflow tools
• Dedicated operational support teams
• 24/7 IT support and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite procedural breast coverage
• Perform patient-facing imaging days
• Conduct remote diagnostic reading outside of onsite procedural coverage

Compensation

• Competitive base salary: $500,000-$550,000
• $50K Commencement incentive

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
• Day/1st Shift
• Monday-Friday daytime schedule (8a-5p EST)
• Estimated Q6 weekend call
• Flexible hybrid structure with remote reading opportunities

Requirements

• Breast/Mammo fellowship preferred but not required
• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
• BE or BC by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• MQSA preferred for Breast Imaging
• Licensed or ability to obtain a license in the state of Georgia
