Instructional Paraprofessional Position
This is an instructional paraprofessional position who will work with children in the Breakthrough School campus setting under the supervision of a teacher.
Qualification:
- Education/Certification: Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring)
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Some college hours in core subject area preferred
Experience:
- Some experience working with children
- Bilingual speaker preferred
Starting Base Salary Range: $23,263 - $29,112 (based upon the 2025/2026 Compensation Plan)
Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience. Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
Additional Program Stipend: Stipend amounts vary and include additional days during the Breakthrough program academic year as outlined in the stipend agreement. ***STIPENDS ARE GRANT FUNDED*** FUTURE FUNDING IS BASED UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE GRANT
Work Calendar: 187 days + additional Breakthrough Campus days
