Overview
DuraServ is looking for a Branch Vice President who drives performance through people, process, and operational discipline – not a personal quota. The role leads the branch business with a P&L, sales team, service team, and operational functions. It requires an operator mindset that owns the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall branch operations – sales execution, service delivery, staffing, training, inventory, facilities, and financial controls.
- Monitor and drive branch financial performance to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets.
- Provide input to strategic decisions, participate in budget development with regional leadership.
- Maintain market, customer, vendor, competitor knowledge.
- Lead the branch sales team – set targets, coach performance, build a culture of accountability.
- Direct quoting, scheduling, and job execution to ensure safe and timely delivery.
- Build and manage customer relationships; senior relationship owner.
- Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across operations.
- Lead service team through subordinate managers and develop sales professionals.
- Coach team on technical, sales, and professional standards.
- Ensure staffing, training cadence, and performance management keep the branch at full capacity.
Qualifications
- Proven operational leader with P&L experience.
- Developer of people – built teams, coached underperformers, established an accountable culture.
- Sound business decision‑maker using market, financial, and customer data.
- Customer relationship leader engaging at senior level.
- Operationally fluent – managing inventory, facilities, scheduling, and compliance.
- Excellent communicator across team, customers, vendors, and regional leadership.
- 5+ years combined B2B sales and operational leadership, industrial or distribution services background.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education allowed.
- Previous managing sales professionals preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean record required.
