Branch SupervisorThe Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem with the Branch Manager. Duties include staff training and safety, building rapport with customers and the community, and creating & implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets.Essential Functions:Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as neededMaintain a qualified staff within defined headcount parametersManage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, and hiring decisionsProvide training, coaching, development, and motivation to improve branch performanceSupport and enforce a culture of safety that adheres to all safety policiesEnsure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately, and timely, including but not limited to receiving, restocking, picking, shipping, returns, inventory managementEnsure standards of performance as a basis of reviewFoster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivityEnsure customers receive efficient, expedient service by all personnel and provide support on escalated customer requests as neededEnsure all front counter operations are performed per policies and proceduresManage retail display area to meet company goals and objectivesAdhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulatory and applicable lawsMust be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (e.g., fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc.)Special projects as assigned by managementExperience Requirements:Excellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to perform in stressful and demanding environmentAbility to motivate, lead, and develop staffMinimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience desiredMinimum 1 year customer service experienceProficient in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
