This is a hands-on role for a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work, understands G and M code, and can make on-the-fly edits to ensure quality and accuracy.CNC Set Up Machinist/Programmer Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirementsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsMake program edits using G and M code to improve part quality or process efficiencyPerform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesTroubleshoot setup and machining issues, maintaining optimal machine performanceWork collaboratively with team members in a job shop environment to meet production goalsCNC Set Up Machinist/Programmer Requirements:3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience preferredStrong knowledge of G and M code; ability to make edits independentlyProgramming experience is a plus but not requiredProficient in blueprint reading and use of precision measuring instrumentsDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvementReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicIND103 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
