Job Description

We are seeking an experienced banking professional for a Branch Operations Specialist or Branch Operations Officer position, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have strong banking operations knowledge, supervisory experience, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Schedule branch staff and ensure adequate coverage.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while supporting performance evaluations.
• Maintain branch security, cash controls, transaction approvals, and audit readiness.
• Review operational reports, account documentation, new account openings, and transaction exceptions.
• Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and resolve escalated customer concerns.
• Support customer retention, relationship management, and branch growth initiatives.
• For the Officer level, drive deposit growth, support business development, and participate in prospecting activities.
• Manage employee schedules, timecards, and daily operational responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

Branch Operations Officer

• Minimum 8 years of banking experience.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum 4 years of banking operations experience.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced branch environment.
• Notary Public certification preferred.
