The Branch Manager (BM) is responsible for the overall performance and leadership of the branch, ensuring all operations run efficiently, profitably, and to the highest customer satisfaction. This includes full oversight of financial performance, production management, customer relations, sales support, safety programs, fleet coordination, contract management, and team development.

The Branch Manager plans 3–6 months ahead, ensuring readiness for all seasons and service lines (Maintenance, Enhancements/Construction, Snow). Branch performance is measured by four key metrics: Safety, Customer Retention, Growth, and Profitability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily and seasonal operations, ensuring quality work, efficient routing, and timely execution across all service divisions.
  • Financial Management: Build annual budgets, review P&L statements, monitor gross margins, manage AR/AP, and complete monthly rolling budgets with Regional VP and CFO.
  • Team Management: Lead Account Managers, Production Managers, Fleet, and administrative staff through weekly meetings and coaching.
  • Customer Relations: Ensure customer satisfaction, oversee renewals, resolve escalated issues, support AMs, and perform scheduled site visits and inspections.
  • Contract & Systems Management: Ensure accurate contract setup, pricing, and invoicing within Aspire; maintain accurate data and generate required weekly/monthly reports.
  • Fleet & Equipment: Plan and oversee fleet maintenance, equipment readiness, budgeting for capital needs, and ensuring all assets are safe, clean, and fully functional.
  • Business Development: Partner with Business Developers to achieve annual sales targets for new contracts, enhancements, construction, and snow services.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce APHIX safety policies, complete monthly audits, ensure safe equipment operation, document site visits, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Snow Operations: Oversee all snow planning, routing, staffing, subcontractor contracts, training, and equipment readiness and storm execution (where applicable).
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with customers, teams, vendors, subcontractors, and corporate leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, agriculture, environmental design, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of management experience in a service industry required
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn Aspire software
  • Customer service experience with ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to seasonal demands
