In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Minot branch while helping grow market share, support profitability, strengthen customer relationships, and champion a healthy, team-focused culture.
What youll do:
- Lead, coach, and support the Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental teams
- Oversee daily branch operations and keep the team focused, organized, and moving forward
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop employees
- Set branch goals, build strategies, grow market share, and support profitability
- Build strong customer and community relationships in the Minot area
- Manage branch resources, budgets, metrics, and facility needs
- Promote a safe, positive, team-focused culture that reflects Swanstons values
- Collaborate with leaders from other locations and with senior leadership to help promote a consistent Swanston brand and experience
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, care, and follow-through
What youll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a equipment retail, dealership, or similar customer-focused business environment
- 35 years of people leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others
- Equipment dealership experience in sales, operations, or leadership is preferred
- Strong communication, listening, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- A customer-first mindset with the drive to grow the business and support the team
- Professionalism, good judgment, organization, confidentiality, and ethical behavior
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
