Role Description

The Branch Manager role at American Commerce Bank, N.A. is a full-time, on-site position based in Johns Creek, GA. The Branch Manager oversees day-to-day branch operations, including supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This role includes managing branch sales activities, developing local business relationships, and actively promoting the bank’s products and services to achieve growth targets. The Branch Manager monitors branch performance metrics, manages budgets, and ensures effective cash and risk management. Daily responsibilities also involve coaching and developing team members, resolving complex customer issues, and representing the bank in the local community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and coaching staff in a financial or customer-facing environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain business and consumer banking relationships.
• Proficiency in branch operations, including cash handling, risk management, and regulatory and compliance procedures.
• Solid sales and business development skills, with experience meeting financial targets and promoting banking products and services.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a branch leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Comfort with banking software, standard office applications, and data reporting tools.
