Branch Manager – Greenville, TN

Location: Greenville, TN – Retail shop

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daytime hours.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to achieve sales and margin goals.
  • Promote sales, deliver excellent customer service, and nurture inventory levels.
  • Balance expenses through purchase support and financial processing, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, and bank deposits.
  • Maintain accuracy of back‑order, open‑order, and purchase order (PO) expedite reports.
  • Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard‑goods inventory levels for the branch.
  • Lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, procedures, and safety.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.
  • Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous management experience in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Background in leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with material handling equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn new digital tools.
  • Self‑motivated with a focus on contributing to overall team success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Track record in the welding, gas, or safety industry.
  • 3+ years in a role focused on nurturing team growth and operational efficiency.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales with measurable contributions.
  • Experience with inventory cultivation and vendor relationship support.
