Branch Manager – Insurance Sales (Cape Girardeau, MO)

Build and run our new Cape Girardeau office from day one.

Temmen Insurance is one of Missouri's fastest-growing independent agencies. We help seniors, veterans and families find health, Medicare and life insurance coverage. We generate our own leads in-house, more than 15,000 a month, so our agents spend their time talking to people who asked to hear from us, not cold calling.

We're opening a branch in Cape Girardeau and need a local leader to hire, train and run the sales team. You'll get the leads, technology, training and back-office support of an established agency. Your job is to build a winning team and culture here.

What you'll do

• Recruit, hire and onboard a team of licensed sales agents, growing to 8–12 in year one
• Run the daily sales floor: morning huddles, call coaching, activity and conversion targets
• Own the branch numbers: dials, contact rate, close rate, policies placed and retention
• Review calls and coach agents one-on-one so they improve every week
• Keep the team compliant with state and carrier rules
• Sell alongside the team when needed. You lead from the front.
• Report weekly results to ownership and help shape how the office grows

What we're looking for

• 3+ years leading a sales team against a quota. Insurance, financial services, auto, wireless, banking or any high-activity sales background works.
• A track record of hiring and developing reps who hit their numbers
• Comfortable with KPIs, dashboards and phone-based sales
• Rooted in Southeast Missouri, or planning to be
• Missouri Life & Health license, or able to get it within 30 days (we'll help)
• Medicare or senior-market experience is a plus, not a requirement

• $80,000 base salary plus profit sharing on the Cape Girardeau branch. As the office grows, your pay grows with it.
