Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the branch, including team leadership, customer relationships, lending, deposits, sales, operations, and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working directly with customers while developing and coaching a high-performing banking team.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees while fostering a strong culture of sales and service.
• Build and deepen relationships with individuals and businesses in the community.
• Develop new loan and deposit relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
• Manage branch lending activities, including analyzing creditworthiness, structuring loans, monitoring repayment, and managing asset quality.
• Drive achievement of branch goals for loan growth, deposit growth, profitability, and customer service.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including internal controls, audits, cash/vault procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with other areas of the bank to provide customers with a full range of financial solutions.
• Participate in community events, sales calls, and other business-development activities.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Work closely with the Market President to execute strategic initiatives and achieve branch objectives.

What We're Looking For

• 5-10 years of banking experience with demonstrated success in sales, operations, and staff leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, preferred, but not required.
• 2-3 years of lending experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees.
• Strong business-development and sales skills.
• A proven ability to balance customer service, business development, and operational excellence.
