POSITION OVERVIEW

TheBranchManagerwillberesponsiblefortheday-to-dayoperationandgrowthoftheBerneoffice.Becausethiswill be a new branch, the position requires a hands-on manager who is comfortable wearing multiple hats .

This is not strictly a supervisory or administrative position. The Branch Manager will work directly with members, operateacashdrawerwhenneeded,openaccounts,assistwithtransactions,andserveastheprimarylenderforthe Berne office .

Thesuccessfulcandidatemustbeabletomovecomfortablybetweenmanagingthebranch,servingmembersatthe teller line, evaluating loan requests, developing community relationships, and handling the daily responsibilities necessary to operate a successful credit union office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the daily operations of the Berne branch while maintaining a welcoming, professional, and member-focused environment.
• Provide leadership and direction to branch staff as the office grows.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer and assist members with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Serve as the primary lender for the branch, including interviewing applicants, evaluating loan requests, preparing loandocumentation, and helping members identify appropriate lending solutions.
• Open new accounts and assist members with FinancialPartnersFCU products and services.
• Maintain appropriate cash controls, security procedures, operational standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Effectively multitask between teller, lending, management, and member-service responsibilities.
• Develop relationships throughout Berne and the surrounding Adams County community.
• Represent FinancialPartnersFCU professionally at community events and activities.
• Help develop new membership and lending opportunities while maintaining the credit union's commitment to responsible financial stewardship.
• Resolve member questions and concerns with professionalism, sound judgment, and a service-oriented approach.
• Work closely with management and staff at the Woodburn and Grabill offices to ensure consistency in operations, lending, service, and credit union standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Management or supervisory experience, preferably in banking, credit unions, financial services, retail, or anothercustomer-focused environment.
• Previouscash-handlingexperienceandtheabilitytoaccuratelymaintainandbalanceacashdrawer.
• Lendingexperienceisstronglypreferred;however,candidateswithstrongfinancial-servicesexperienceandtheability to learn consumer lending will be considered.
• Strongorganizationalandmultitaskingabilities.
• Excellentinterpersonalandcommunicationskills.
• Theabilitytomakesounddecisionswhileprovidingexceptionalmemberservice.
• A willingness to be personally involved in all aspects of branch operations rather than functioning solely in a management role.

TRAINING & TRAVEL

TheselectedBranchManagerwillinitiallytrainatFinancialPartnersFCU'sWoodburn,Indianaoffice beforeassumingfullresponsibilityfortheBernelocation.

ThecandidatemustbewillingandabletotravelbetweenBerneandWoodburnduringthetrainingperiod and,whennecessary,thereafterforthemeetings,additionaltraining,orothercreditunionresponsibilities.
