• Manage and supervise branch employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
• Maintain and oversee all banking procedures and processes.
• Communicate and implement company-wide directives and changes to banking operations.
• Recruiting, vetting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
• Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation for bank personnel.
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective business opportunities.
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of banking experience required.
• 3+ years of experience managing personnel required.
• Established knowledge of the Bellville or Austin County market strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of banking and finance best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills, task organizational skills, and a high level of initiative.
• Able to move up to 50 pounds and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity.
• Able to work a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, occasional holidays and/or weekends.
