Pay Range: $75,065.32 - $112,983.11 Annually (DOE)

Job Summary

The Branch Manager develops and leads a team of Project Managers and Supervisors and is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability in a specific geographic area by utilizing team expertise and industry knowledge. The role provides direction, development, coaching, and guidance to all direct reports while managing multiple claims/jobs. Branch Managers are required to be on‑call along with other managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact for urgent issues.
  • Ensure all branch operations support timely billing and DSO reduction.
  • Promote inter‑office communication via regular staff meetings to drive branch success.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with adjusters, customers, co‑workers, and contractors.
  • Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to branch members on current jobs and priorities.
  • Continuously promote the company’s services to adjusters and potential clients.
  • Collaborate and support sales efforts in meeting corporate revenue objectives.
  • Drive branch‑level financial success in revenue, profit, billing, and DSO.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings or 1:1s to ensure positive communication flow.
  • Ensure performance reviews for the branch are processed on time.
  • Make strategic decisions to positively impact branch success and meet deadlines.
  • Hire, manage, and maintain a diverse workforce.
  • Promote employee growth and development through training.
  • Support the company’s safe workplace policies and practices.

Experience / Requirements

  • Proven branch management experience in commercial and residential industries, specifically related to water, fire, and/or mold loss.
  • Sufficient knowledge of current management techniques and best practices.
  • Familiarity with industry rules and regulations.
  • Ability to meet target and production goals.
  • Results‑driven with a focus on customer relations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and increase morale.
  • Basic knowledge of human resource management skills.

Safety Requirements

  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Follow required PPE guidelines (gloves, masks, goggles, hard hats, and safety footwear). All employees must wear PPE as required for their specific roles and job site conditions.
  • Practice ergonomic principles to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Adhere to office safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Complete all mandatory safety training sessions, including hazard communication, emergency response, and safe equipment handling.
  • Identify and immediately report any unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or injuries.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures relevant to your specific job site, including evacuation routes and contacts.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting and carrying materials up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Perform tasks requiring walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, climbing, squatting, crawling, lifting above shoulder, and twisting.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing required in office, driving, and/or at job sites.
  • Repetitive motions involving computer/mouse use, wrists, or arms.
  • Operate machinery and tools as required by job tasks.
  • Clear vision required for close work, computer use, and eye coordination.

Working Conditions

Office Environment

  • Indoor office setting for corporate roles, utilizing standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers). May involve regular meetings, in person or via Zoom, and collaboration with team members.

Field Environment

  • Outdoor fieldwork at restoration sites, residential, commercial, or industrial properties. Duties may involve exposure to weather conditions (sun, rain, snow, heat).

Hazardous Environments

  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials, chemicals, or contaminants specific to restoration work, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
  • Work after hours and weekends due to 24/7 business operations.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel to and from job sites, often using company vehicles. Possible attendance at out‑of‑town training or conferences.
