About The Role

The Branch Manager I is responsible for leading branch operations, developing a high‑performing team, and delivering an exceptional member experience. This role ensures policies and procedures are followed while driving growth, strengthening relationships, and supporting the financial well‑being of our members.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.
  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Process member loan applications within established policies.
  • Promote financial wellness through member education, coaching, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve member concerns and ensure a positive service experience.
  • Train and develop team members to stay current on products, services, and procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling, daily balancing, and operational controls.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Monitor industry trends to keep products and services competitive.

Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of similar or related experience.

Education: A two‑year college degree, a completion of a specialized certification or licensing, completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job‑specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Physical Requirements: Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
