Brake/Tire Specialist

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps
• Perform tire and brake maintenance
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires
• Occasionally road test vehicles
• Work in a production line
• Use U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology and electronic pre-inspection checklist to assess and care for field vehicles
• Assist in additional areas as necessary under supervisor direction and guidance
• Work safely during manual-labor tasks and remain alert

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• 1–2 years of repair experience preferred
• Driver’s license
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Basic computer skills
• Regular attendance
• Ability to perform manual labor safely and remain alert
• Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, safety shoes, goggles, gloves, or face shields
• Must not use nicotine products, consistent with applicable state law and U-Haul hiring policy
