Come grow with KMC Stampings!Summary Of Position:Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Setup/Operator sets-up and operates brake presses and punch presses to form and bend a variety of materials. Responsible for part quality and efficiency.Responsibilities:Set-up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radiiWork from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templatesUse scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gaugesSorting and packaging partsVerify quantity & quality of materialMoves raw material to and from production areas as necessaryOperates overhead crane while moving productQualifications:Good math skills; Basic reading & writing skillsRegular attendance is required; punctual, dependableStrong attention to detailPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required talk or hear and may occasionally sit; regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
