Working remotely on a full-time basis, the BPL Appraisal Reviewer will ensure appraisal reports meet regulatory and internal standards, collaborate with vendors and appraisers to resolve discrepancies, and provide timely value recommendations. Key responsibilities: Review and analyze appraisal reports to confirm alignment with appraisal methodology and reconcile multiple approaches Collaborate with the BPL Appraisal Review team for additional expertise and run analyses on comparable selections Ensure vendor compliance and report alignment with Valere's policies, USPAP standards, and applicable regulations Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field 3+ years of experience in appraisal review, appraisal processing, and quality control Extensive knowledge of appraisal and industry guidelines Familiarity with appraisal techniques for various property types, such as multi-unit properties Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
