Summary
The Boutique Director will lead the launch and ongoing operation of the Madison Avenue flagship boutique. This role drives commercial performance, delivers an elevated client experience, and builds a high-performing retail team while representing the Maison.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales, KPI, and profitability goals; analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee inventory, visual merchandising, boutique presentation, budgets, payroll, expenses, and operational compliance.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate the team, conduct performance reviews, and establish development plans.
- Lead clienteling, VIP relationships, and exceptional service on the sales floor; resolve complex client situations.
- Represent the Maison at events and within the local luxury community, and share market insights with commercial and global teams.
Requirements
- Progressive luxury retail management experience, preferably in menswear or lifestyle, including leadership of a high-volume, flagship, or high-profile boutique.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and managing P&L.
- Strong leadership, communication, recruiting, team development, clienteling, VIP relationship management, and operational skills.
- Proficiency in retail systems and experience with inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or a related field preferred.
