We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.The Boomi Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using Boomi platform. This role works closely with the Integration Architect, Technical Lead, and Business Analysts to implement reliable, scalable integrations that support business processes and enterprise systems, including SAP and SaaS applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement integration flows using Boomi platformBuild and maintain integration across enterprise systems, including SAP S/4, Salesforce, Shopify, MDM and other SaaS applicationsDevelop and consume REST-based APIs and interface servicesPerform data mapping, transformation, and validation between source and target systemsCreate and maintain integration artifacts, technical documentation, and configuration detailsCollaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Leads to refine requirements and implement solutionsParticipate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, estimation, and demosConduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects and performance issuesFollow enterprise integration standards, security guidelines, and best practicesSupport production integrations, including incident investigation and defect resolutionParticipate in on-call or escalation support rotations as requiredAnalyze logs, monitoring alerts, and error handling mechanisms to identify root causesImplement fixes and enhancements to improve integration stability and performanceQualifications5+ years of overall IT experience, with strong focus on system integrations3+ years of API development experience.REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocolsIntegration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-based)Data transformations and mappingsExperience integrating with SAP S/4 using APIs, IDocs, or similar mechanismsHands-on experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing and validationExperience integrating with database technologies (NoSQL or relational), with understanding of data structures used in integration scenariosFamiliarity with cloud and SaaS integrationsExperience working in Agile / Scrum environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExposure to middleware integration platformFamiliarity with API gateways and monitoring toolsBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience working in large enterprise integration environmentsCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
