Our client, a men's apparel brand, is seeking a Bookkeeper based in Secaucus to join the team in a full-time capacity!
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory management.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Support month-end closing processes and assist with audits as needed.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information with discretion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Previous Retail/Wholesale Fashion experience preferred
- Master knowledge of Excel
- Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
