Bookkeeper

WHO WE ARE

We are a small, boutique bookkeeping and advisory firm serving business owners who value clean books and clear financial reporting. Pique Prosperity LLC helps business owners build cash-healthy, profitable companies so they can use their earnings more effectively and pay themselves sustainably. Our clients span a range of mostly professional service industries, including law firms with trust accounting requirements. We are looking for a US-based bookkeeper who understands how transactions flow through the financial statements and can move comfortably between clients, priorities, and problems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple small business clients

• Complete bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries

• Manage monthly closes and prepare financial statements

• Handle cleanup and catch-up work when needed

• Investigate unreconciled items and follow through until they are resolved

• Support trust accounting for law firm clients when applicable

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, and financial statement impact
• Experience across multiple clients or industries, not solely one company's books
• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• The ability to multitask and shift gears quickly
• Confidence to identify issues and bring forward with a recommendation
• A degree or college-level accounting coursework preferred; comparable hands-on experience considered

PREFERRED

• Remote work experience
• Law firm bookkeeping (preference will be given to these candidates)
• Trust accounting
