Bookkeeper

Job Summary

As a Bookkeeper, you’ll keep financial records accurate, organized, and ready to support sound business decisions. You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping, help maintain reliable accounting systems, and prepare clear reports for internal review. Duties

Record transactions using double-entry bookkeeping, including debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing; maintain supporting documentation. Complete bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Use accounting software and financial software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Xero, or Quicken, along with spreadsheets. Assist with budgeting, account analysis, financial report writing, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bookkeeper experience or accounting and finance experience, with a working knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and core financial concepts. Familiarity with accounting systems, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and reconciliation processes. Ability to work accurately with financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting software. Experience in corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting is helpful but not required.

Pay: $75,800.00 - $93,600.00 per year
