Ascendo Resources is partnering with a well-established accounting firm in Midtown, New York to find an experienced Bookkeeper to join their accounting team. Salary range is up to $60,000 with excellent benefits.

You'll own the books in QuickBooks, from transaction entry through month-end reconciliations, in a collaborative environment that values accuracy and integrity.
What you'll do:
- Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks Desktop & Online
- Run bank, credit card, loan, sales tax, and payroll reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and support balance sheet reconciliations
- Support payroll adjustments and sales tax activity
- Help produce financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
What you bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with double-entry and GL experience
- 3+ years in QuickBooks xzgxqkn Desktop and/or Online
- 3+ years with payroll and sales tax calculations
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
