Bookkeeper Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- The Bookkeeper will perform bank and account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- The Bookkeeper will process AP and AR transactions using QuickBooks
- Serve as backup support for payroll processing in ADP
- Prepare financial reports, including cash receipts and disbursements, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and profit and loss statements
- Generate monthly customer statements and process membership dues
- The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records through the trial balance
- Provide administrative support as needed to assist the accounting team and daily office operations
Qualifications for Bookkeeper Role
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and ADP
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while working independently and as part of a small team
