If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out.The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for all transactions.Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.Support inventory tracking and reconciliation processes.Prepare and submit sales tax returns.Recommended QualificationsProven experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.Understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.Bonus QualificationsAdditional certifications or trainingJob Titles That Should ApplyBookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, Junior Accountant, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Financial Assistant, Bookkeeping AssistantWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
