As a Bookkeeping Consultant, you will be a full-time employee of Robert Half and work on interim and project-based assignments with our clients throughout the Greater Syracuse New York region.

Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
- Bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations
- Journal entry preparation and posting
- Month-end and year-end close activities
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Payroll processing and support
- Budgeting and forecasting assistance
- Audit preparation and support
- Cash applications and collections activities
- ERP implementations, system conversions, and process improvement initiatives
- Special accounting projects and operational support xhqgsiq
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related experience
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with client teams
