Salary: $55,000–$68,000

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company with more than 40 years of operating history. The company has a long-tenured workforce and a family-oriented work environment. This position will work closely with ownership and executive leadership and will support a broad range of accounting and payroll functions.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare financial statements and related reports
- Maintain the general ledger for multiple entities
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Process and reconcile payroll, including payroll taxes and garnishments
- Administer employee benefits as they relate to payroll
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
- Prepare year-end W-2s and 1099s
- Assist with HR-related administrative functions
- Support ownership and leadership with accounting-related requests and reporting
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Payroll processing experience, including payroll taxes and garnishments
- Familiarity with sales and use tax filings
