Role Description

The Booking Coordinator is a remote, freelance, commission-based position responsible for securing and managing performance opportunities for 2 projects. The Booking Coordinator is expected to take ownership of the booking pipeline, independently develop opportunities, maintain relationships with industry contacts, and consistently drive measurable results. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing booking inquiries, negotiating terms, coordinating contracts, maintaining booking calendars, and communicating with artists, promoters, and internal team members.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-directed, and capable of developing booking strategies without requiring constant oversight. Compensation is commission-based, with commissions earned on successfully secured bookings rather than outreach activity alone.

  • Relevant experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles, ideally within music, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Comfort with digital tools and booking platforms; proficiency in common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, shared calendars).
  • Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or specialized training in music business, arts administration, or a related field is a plus.
