Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of another year extension
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30am-4:00pm | 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am | 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am (24/7 coverage)
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
Certifications: Certified Boiler Plant Operator license/certification
Experience needed: Minimum 5 years' experience in Boiler Plant Operator with commercial or hospital experience
Special Skills needed:

• Operation of multi-fuel water-tube/fire-tube boilers
• Combustion control adjustment
• Gas/fuel-oil switching
• Boiler water chemistry testing/treatment
• Monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Start/regulate/secure boilers
• Maintain steam pressure/temperature
• Test and document boiler water chemistry
• Perform minor repairs/PM on valves, pumps, burners, feedwater/condensate systems
• Respond to boiler/steam alarms and after-hours trouble calls

Misc: Must interpret manuals/directives/regulations and apply to full plant operation
