Maintenance TechnicianJob Responsibilities:Perform maintenance to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment, or systems in a timely manner.Maintain data in the computer system.Make adjustments needed to ensure products produced meet all quality standards.Work closely with all team members to ensure each task is completed in a safe and efficient manner.Must be able to confer with outside technical support and utilize that supportDuties include but are not limited to - removing, installing, replacing, starting up, operating for test purposes, testing, adjusting, rebuilding, aligning, calibrating, major assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.The Skills You Will Bring:High School Diploma or GEDMust have a NJ High Pressure Black Seal Boiler License.Minimum of two years industrial maintenance experienceTwo-year vocational training in electrical technology is preferredAn operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drivesPLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.Working Knowledge of Encoders and various types of sensors.Working Knowledge of power transmission equipment, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulicsFamiliarity with pumps, both air and electricSome knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switchesProven safety record and working knowledge of industrial safety proceduresWillingness to work 10–12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as requiredSelf-motivated, and capable of working with little or no supervisionCapable of wearing all required personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and flame-resistant clothingAbility to be part of a multi-functional / multi-skilled maintenance organization with a willingness to flow to work as required by plant production prioritiesWorking knowledge of MS Office, Word, and ExcelExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) primarily SAPPreferred experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency DrivesWhile performing the duties for this job, an individual regularly works near moving electrical parts, electrical components and steam. They would be occasionally exposed to wet, and/or humid conditions and temperature variations. These responsibilities and duties are not intended to be all-inclusive.
