Alaska Radiology Associates (ARA) is seeking a fellowship-trained Body Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, AK. This full-time, partnership-track opportunity offers generous compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves providing high-quality imaging and professional radiology services within Alaska's largest private practice radiology group.

Practice Info

  • Largest private practice radiology group in Alaska.
  • Provides full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska.
  • Provides services to outpatient imaging centers located in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su Valley.
  • Offers sub-specialized teleradiology services for clients throughout the state of Alaska.
  • Provides both teleradiology and onsite services in Kodiak Island, Alaska.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum imaging and interventional services.
  • Provide sub-specialized teleradiology services.
  • Perform general radiology including X-Ray, Ultrasound and CT.
  • Perform general radiology procedures including FNA, Shoulder and Hip Arthrograms, US Guided Soft Tissue Biopsy, and occasional Paracentesis or Thoracentesis.

Compensation

  • Salary: $750,000-$800,000 + $100,000 benefits package.
  • Sign on bonus: $50,000 or fellowship stipend.
  • Full-time option to work onsite 26 weeks/year with housing and car provided, salary: $500,000 + $100,000 benefits package ($600,000 total compensation).
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
  • The salary range for this position is $600,000-$900,000.

Shift & Schedule

  • Day/1st Shift.
  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
  • Typical schedule M-F 8am-5pm, 11am-7pm or 2pm-10pm.
  • Occasional (2-3 per year) weekly rotations on Kodiak Island.
  • Weekend commitment depends on Associate vs Partnership track; associates contribute 4 Sat-Sun weekends per year (8 shifts) which are 7am-7pm.
  • Full-time option to work onsite 26 weeks/year in Anchorage, AK.
  • For the 26 weeks/year option, typical schedule M-F 8am-5pm.
  • For the 26 weeks/year option, associates contribute 4 Sat-Sun weekends per year (8 shifts) which are 7am-7pm.

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained in Body Imaging.
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
