Position Summary


We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Body Plastic Surgeon to join our growing surgical and dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in plastic surgery and has strong experience performing cosmetic and reconstructive body procedures. This role includes surgical consultations, operative procedures, post-operative care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform surgical and non-surgical cosmetic body procedures, including but not limited to:


    • Liposuction

    • Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)

    • Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

    • Body contouring after weight loss

    • Arm lift (brachioplasty)

    • Thigh lift

    • Mommy makeover procedures

    • Fat transfer procedures


  • Conduct pre-operative evaluations and patient consultations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical assessment.

  • Provide high-quality post-operative follow-up care and complication management.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection prevention standards, and surgical best practices.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesiology, and surgical coordinators to ensure smooth patient experience.

  • Educate patients on risks, recovery expectations, and realistic outcomes.

  • Participate in marketing efforts and practice growth initiatives as needed.

  • Maintain medical licensure and continuing education requirements.


Qualifications


Required



  • MD degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Completion of accredited Plastic Surgery residency training.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic Surgery (ABPS or equivalent).

  • Active medical license (or ability to obtain) in Texas.

  • DEA license (or ability to obtain).

  • Proven surgical expertise in body cosmetic procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred



  • Fellowship training in aesthetic surgery (optional but preferred).

  • Experience in high-volume cosmetic surgery practice.

  • Strong portfolio of before/after outcomes.

  • Interest in practice development and patient education.

Work Environment



  • Outpatient surgical center and clinic setting.

  • Standing for long periods and performing complex surgical procedures.
