Body Imaging Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking a BC/BE, fellowship trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join the team at Staten Island University Hospital. This full-time position offers in-person, hybrid, and remote options when feasible within a large, subspecialized department. Providers will enjoy a diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base. • Large, subspecialized radiology department with close to 250 radiologists
• Diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Robust 60+ team of physicians interpreting examinations annually supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base
• Staten Island University Hospital includes two campuses and is the borough's major teaching hospital

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and support resident education
• Perform advanced cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis
• Perform comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics
• Perform diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures
• Perform image-guided biopsies and fluid drainages (CT and ultrasound)

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Body Imaging
• Completion of Body Imaging Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
