Body Imaging Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking BC/BE Body Imaging Radiologists to join their team across a diverse network of facilities in New York and Connecticut, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options available. Providers will work within a large, subspecialized department, accessing a diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings. This opportunity offers a chance to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, support resident education, and collaborate with a robust team of physicians.

• Robust 60+ team of physicians interpreting examinations annually supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base

Responsibilities

• Interpret examinations supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base
• Perform clinical responsibilities tailored to training and site with the opportunity to emphasize cross-sectional imaging
• Perform a broad range of procedures including advanced cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis
• Provide comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics
• Perform diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures
• Perform image-guided biopsies and fluid drainages (CT and ultrasound)

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Body Imaging
• Completion of Body Imaging Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut
