Body Imaging Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking BC/BE Body Imaging Radiologists to join their team across a diverse network of in-person, hybrid, and remote facilities. Clinicians will have the opportunity to work within a large, subspecialized radiology department with access to a diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role allows physicians to collaborate with a robust team supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base.

• Work across a diverse network of facilities including Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester, Hudson Valley, Staten Island, and Connecticut with in-person, hybrid, and remote options
• Subspecialized radiology department with close to 250 radiologists
• Diverse case mix across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and support resident education
• Robust 60+ team of physicians interpreting examinations supported by modern imaging infrastructure and an extensive referral base

Responsibilities

• Emphasize cross-sectional imaging and perform a broad range of procedures tailored to training and site
• Perform advanced cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis
• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics
• Perform diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures
• Execute image-guided biopsies and fluid drainages (CT and ultrasound)

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Body Imaging
• Completion of Body Imaging Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut
