Body Imaging Radiologist

Detroit Medical Center Radiology is seeking a Body Imaging Radiologist to join their expanding team under new leadership. This role offers remote flexibility and predictable scheduling, serving a diverse urban patient population across multiple Level I and II trauma centers. Practice Info

• 100% remote reading across a prestigious multi-hospital system
• Hospital Network: Huron Valley-Sinai (Level III), Harper University (Level I academic), Detroit Receiving (Level I adult trauma), Sinai-Grace (Level II), and Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan
• Team: Full-spectrum subspecialty group including Neuro, MSK, Pediatric, Nuclear Medicine, IR, Breast/Women's Imaging, and Emergency Radiology
• IR supported by four Physician Assistants
• Active participation in resident and medical student education supported by an on-site residency program

Responsibilities

• Interpret CT (oncology, trauma, abdomen/pelvis, liver, pancreas, GU, bowel)
• Interpret MRI (liver, biliary, prostate, pelvis, rectal staging, renal)
• Interpret Ultrasound (abdomen, pelvis, vascular, Doppler)
• Interpret X-ray/Fluoroscopy (GI/GU contrast, feeding tube placements)
• Handle a volume of 80-120 cases per 8-hour shift (mixed modality)
• Participate in resident and medical student education

Compensation

• Base salary for 10,000 annual wRVUs
• Paid per wRVU above threshold

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• REMOTE - Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Schedules posted 90 days in advance
• Rotating 1:4 weekends call
• Customizable contracts from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE

Requirements

• MD, DO Candidate Type
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent)
• Fellowship training in Body Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, or Cross-Sectional Imaging
• Strong interpretive skills in CT, MRI, and Ultrasound
• Commitment to communication, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume environment
• Passion for resident education and continuous professional improvement
