Body Imaging Radiologist

Northwell Health is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Body Imaging Radiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology. This role offers the opportunity to work in a large, subspecialized department across diverse inpatient and outpatient settings in the NYC Metro Area, including Manhattan, Long Island, and Westchester County. The position involves interpreting a diverse case mix and participating in multidisciplinary conferences and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting examinations annually.
• Emphasize cross-sectional imaging.
• Perform advanced cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
• Perform comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics.
• Perform diagnostic fluoroscopic procedures.
• Perform image-guided biopsies and fluid drainages (CT and ultrasound).

Requirements

• MD. or D.O. degree.
• BE/BC in Body Imaging.
• Completion of Body Imaging Fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut.
