Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Emergency Service Board-Up Technician to join our emergency response team. This role involves securing properties that have been damaged by fire, flood, storms, vandalism, or accidents. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, comfortable working at heights, and capable of responding quickly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
Respond to emergency calls to board up and secure residential and commercial properties
Install temporary protective coverings over doors, windows, and other openings
Safely use hand and power tools to perform boarding-up tasks
Assess damage and communicate needs and next steps to team leads and clients
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and inventory of materials
Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols
Provide excellent customer service while on-site during emergencies
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
Experience with basic construction tools and safety equipment preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in construction or emergency services is a plus
DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
Experience driving trailers is a plus
