At The People’s Table is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit religious and community outreach organization focused on food assistance, direct outreach, community programming, and the long-term development of a 24-hour community resource center.
We are seeking a volunteer Board Member with experience in behavioral health, social work, counseling, substance use services, homelessness services, community health, case management, or related human services.
This board member will help guide program development, strengthen community partnerships, support ethical service delivery, and provide insight into the needs of unhoused and underserved communities.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, mission-driven, understands community-based services, and is willing to contribute professional judgment as the organization grows.
Board members are expected to participate in regular meetings, review organizational materials, help protect the mission, and contribute to strategic planning and community partnerships.
