Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

To support a nationwide panel of physician reviewers, the part-time independent contractor Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon will conduct independent medical reviews, evaluate patient records, and provide objective reports while maintaining compliance with relevant standards. Key responsibilities Conduct independent, evidence-based medical and utilization reviews Review patient records and documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines Provide high-quality reports within established turnaround timelines Required qualifications Active board certification in Orthopedic Surgery Current, unrestricted U.S. state medical license Engaged in clinical practice for 20 hours/week or more Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred Strong written communication skills for clear documentation of findings
