Maxim Healthcare Walnut Creek, CA is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to help provide clinical oversight of clients receiving Behavior Respite services.

$105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus and Sign‑on bonus
Salary: $105,000 - $115,000, $6,000 annual bonus that is paid out monthly, and $5,000 sign‑on bonus

Responsibilities of BCBA overseeing Behavior Respite Services
- Develop treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidence‑based approaches and focus on reducing challenging behavior, or maintaining low rates of challenging behavior by implementing schedules/routines that are client preferred.
- Help families by modeling the implementation of effective behavior change procedures (e.g., FCT, DRA without extinction, toileting programs, schedule thinning/demand fading, etc.) as requested.
- Service funding comes from partnerships with local regional centers to support individuals with developmental disabilities across all ages and disabilities that are eligible for Regional Center services.
- Provide supervisory oversight to behavioral direct‑care staff.
- Monitor treatment progress and effectiveness, and update plans to support clients’ needs and learning styles.
Program Objectives
- Assist clients with basic self‑help needs while promoting the highest level of independence.
- Assist clients with socialization skills, as appropriate.
- Continue daily routines that the family is currently performing and provide families/caregivers with a break from the duties of care.
- Ensure safety supervision, assist with meal preparation, feeding, toileting, bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Active license or certification in good standing (e.g., Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Family & Marriage Therapist, or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Prefer supervisory and behavioral assessment experience.
- Experience providing behavioral services to children and adults preferred.
- Experience in quality management preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
Compensation Information
- $105,000 - $115,000 with an additional annual bonus potential of $6,000, paid out monthly.
- $5,000 sign‑on bonus (eligible for new hires only).
