ABOUTTHEROLE

VanguardisexpandingitscommercialandinstitutionalfootprintacrossDFWandweneedaSuperintendentwhocanleadfieldoperationsatscale.You’lloverseeBMScontrolsandlowvoltageelectricalinstallationsacrosshospitals,K–12schools,universities,andpublicinfrastructure—managingcrews,drivingschedules,coordinatingtrades,andholdingthequalitystandard.Thisisahigh-accountabilityrolewithadirectpathtoProjectManagerfortherightperson.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• OverseedailyelectricalconstructionactivitiesacrossmultiplejobsiteswithintheDallas-FortWorth(DFW),TXarea
• Travelregularlybetweenjobsitestomonitorprogress,safety,andquality
• SuperviseanddirectBMScontrolsandlowvoltageelectricalfieldcrewsacrossassignedprojectareas
• Drivedailyproductiongoalsinalignmentwithprojectschedulesandmilestones
• EnsureallBMSandlowvoltageinstallationscomplywithdrawings,specifications,andcode
• CoordinatewithProjectManagers,othertradeSuperintendents,GC/CM,andownerrepresentatives
• Managemanpowerallocation,crewscheduling,andsubcontractoroversight
• Coordinatematerial,tool,andequipmentavailabilitytosupportuninterruptedfieldoperations
• EnforceVanguard’ssafetystandards,OSHArequirements,andsite-specificsafetyprotocols
• EnforceQA/QCstandardsandholdcrewsaccountabletoworkmanshipexpectations—identifydeficienciesanddrivecorrectiveaction
• Providedailyfieldreportscoveringproduction,manpower,issues,andscheduleimpacts
• Lead,mentor,andmanageForemen,Installers,andApprenticestomeetprojectschedulesandproductiongoals
• Participateinprojectplanningmeetings,coordinationsessions,andschedulereviews
• Conductroutinejobsitewalkstoverifyinstallationqualityandsafetycompliance
• Reviewdrawings,specifications,andworkplanstoensureproperinstallation
• Identifyandproactivelyresolvefieldissuesimpactingschedule,productivity,orquality
• Maintainprofessionalcommunicationwithclients,inspectors,andtradepartners

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+yearsofBMScontrols,lowvoltage,and/orelectricalconstructionexperiencewithsupervisoryresponsibility(required)
• PriorsupervisoryorleadexperienceinBMScontrolsorlowvoltage(required)
• StrongknowledgeofBMSsystems,controlssequences,andlowvoltageinfrastructure
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawings,specifications,andschedules
• WorkingknowledgeofOSHAregulations,sitesafetypractices,andLOTOprocedures
• Experiencecoordinatingwithmultipletradesoncommercialconstructionprojects
• Provenexperiencemanagingmultiplejobsitessimultaneously
• Demonstratedleadership,decision-making,andcrewmanagementskills
• Strongcommunication,organization,andproblem-solvingabilities
• Validdriver’slicenseandabilitytotravelthroughouttheDFWMetroplex
